Dear Teacher, Welcome to Interacting on Screen.
Our brand new series of learning resources for the era of Blended learning and beyond!
The Interacting creative team of writers, actors, technicians in consultation with our network of teachers and associates have worked hard to transfer the energy to learning and commitment to entertain from the stage to the screen.
We hope you like using it as much as we loved making it!
Our guiding principles in design have been to generate learning opportunities and a sense of engagement for the learner. To introduce relevant content using modern methodology and to be entertaining and challenging.
Our current innovations may a product of the COVID times we live in but it is our intention that they will be useful as we move forward and make the most of our newly acquired digital teaching competences.
As we often say, 'The quality of the interaction determines the speed of acquisition of knowledge'.
Halloween on Screen is the first of our digital adventures.
Coming up soon we will have our catalogue of theatre shows in a new onscreen and interactive format.
Also in development:
Drama for the Blended Class both hybrid and digital.
Playing CLIL with technology.
How to work across the curriculum with blended learning and games.
Test and play before presenting to your students.
Identify key themes and language appropriate for your class.
Check on our accompanying links to scenes.
In the Playing CLIL handbook we affirm it is no accident that the word play is integral to both theatre and games.
Interacting on Screen uses the structure of a computer games to guide our theatre experience.
The Halloween game can be enjoyed in class controlled by you or by your learners at home.
Introduce the scenes with and without sound, with and without subtitles.
