"INTERACTING IN IRELAND"
A practical 12-day-course bringing the best of the stage to the classroom and how to use games in language teaching.
July and August in Belfast and Bangor,
Northern Ireland
Welcome to the INTERACTING SUMMER COURSES FOR TEACHERS 2010. Our two-week residential English language courses are held at in Belfast and in the Northern Irish seaside town of Bangor.
SUMMER COURSES FOR TEACHERS
The aim of this course is to show teachers the benefits of using interactive activities such as games and drama in teaching. Using theatre techniques and improvisation, language teaching takes on a new, more creative dimension. This course is not designed for teachers to teach their students how to act, but rather about building a creative resource where teachers can overcome their own inhibitions and improve the communicative skills of their students. "Making Sense" provides the tools to foster dialogue and two-way communication between teachers and students.
In addition to the overall atmosphere of fun and community generated during the activities, the course provides teachers from all over the world the perfect setting to meet new partners for future European projects.

“Well, I have been busy and happy with Irish 'Sense' this schoolyear.
Started with local presentation "Laughing and learning in an interactive classroom" and finished with "St.Patrick's Day Event". I am still in love with your Interacting ideas! ”
